LIVING HOSIERY MUSEUM
Thanks to the action of the old bonnetiers romillons and the competition of Romilly Heritage 300 loom trades are grouped in this museum. Ideal for getting back into what has done, and still is, the reputation of the city. Recently, some of these trades have invested the premises of the Olympia plant, located at the entrance to the city on the N 19, from Paris. During the visit, it is bonnetiers who tell, with demonstrations, all stages of making a sock and elastic tissue. Discover the sock sock that made the city famous, and the largest sock in the world, 7,60 m long, designed with the help of the Association of PVE. As for the last major plant, Sotorex, this year, it should succumb to rehabilitation work in the commercial and residential centre. The museum is currently closed.
