CHÂTEAU
By taking the Vannes road, a commune of Sainte-Maure, stop to observe the castle of Vermoise, in the military spirit, dating from the first quarter of the sixteenth century. It has a French-style park, works by Maurice Marinot. If it falls within the private domain, its towers and wall wall are visible from outside. The facades and roof of the dungeon, in the military architecture, are protected by Historical Monuments. The typically Champenoise barn adjacent to the castle is now a superb place for your festivities, with a terrace overlooking the Melda. At the exit of Sainte-Maure, you will also find on the high school site an old pavilion, beautifully erected, and a pigeon tree.
