The Royer family really works to perpetuate the heritage. And with the installation of the sixth generation, Jean-Louis and his wife Edith, the tuilery is taking the cake. She was passionate about pottery, and she installed his workshop, alongside the manufacture of craft tiles with tours and demonstrations, at small prices. So we can discover the tiles made by Jean-Louis, and Edith's works: nest boxes, oils, Middle Ages… The rooms are all baked. Royer tuilery organizes traineeships or refreshments during holidays. If you are lucky, you will arrive at the time of the "big fire": A large oven is lit for nine days for cooking 100 m 3 of tiles. Impressive!
