Restaurant offering few a la carte dishes but only fresh food
As soon as you enter the small room of the Russian restaurant, you're won over, even if the place isn't strategically located or attractive from the outside. Once past the threshold, the bright red on the walls, the wooden games on the tables and the Russian dolls on the windowsills make you want to take the time to eat. There are few dishes on the menu, only fresh ones, which change according to the whims of Lyudmina, who reproduces dishes from her native country in the kitchen. A large board on the wall guides you through the choices available. Starters based on raw fish are a must, while meat or mushroom ravioli (vareniki or pelmeni, depending on shape) are a delight. We also recommend our homemade smoked salmon, always beautifully presented with a squeeze of lemon and a few sprigs of dill. Don't hesitate to ask Romain for advice before choosing. Here, we're all family, and thanks to his wife, he'll be able to explain the composition of each dish perfectly. If you still have a little time, vodka is of course on the menu at this bistro, and we're already looking forward to returning to taste more of the country's specialties.
