Restaurant offering a tempting and affordable menu
Ideal when leaving the Madeleine or Champagne theaters, Le Rocher is located close to the Swiss Valley gardens. In an area rather devoid of restaurants. Quiet. Here, recent renovations have given the establishment a new look. Red and grey for atmosphere. Staff courtesy and sobriety in the dining room. The menu is tempting and affordable. The first menu is more than enough to satisfy your appetite. The starter salads are hearty, and we agree that two slices of terrine are better than one. The main course is beautifully composed. Homemade fries to accompany the good-sized butcher's cut, butter sauce and crunchy vegetables with the salmon. A restaurant that doesn't take itself too seriously, but doesn't scoff at its customers. It regularly organizes theme evenings, featuring local specialties. Like sauerkraut in October. And there's no skimping on desserts either. Nougat ice cream, soft fondant or brownies. No extravagance, but it's good. What else ?
