The Trek Hiking Committee is not the owner of the hiking trails but is responsible for their maintenance, protection and recovery. Indeed, this heritage is not only natural, but also historical and cultural. The system resides in an eco-check system: any hiker or hiker who encounters an anomaly or problem on the marked trails - waste, tree fall, missing or damaged signs - can, via the Internet, bring the information back to the committee. As a result, the committee is struggling to quickly address these potential concerns. For information, Dawn counts 1 200 km of trails (GR), Grande Traversée de Pays (GRP), or Trails and Hiking Trails (PR). The committee also ensures that the practice of hiking takes place with respect for the environment.
