ASSOCIATION OUVRIÈRE DES COMPAGNONS DU DEVOIR DU TOUR DE FRANCE
The training, offered at the end of the3rd class, includes theoretical and practical training (work-study in a company) approved by a CAP or a BEP. At the end of the first year of apprenticeship, the candidate, aged between 16 and 21, is adopted by his peers as an aspiring journeyman. Then begins the long road of the Tour de France as a worker... The third year paves the way for a vocational certificate or a professional bac pro. Very well established in the Champagne region, journeymen are part of France's intangible cultural heritage. The Maison de Troyes has a capacity of 115 young people, a library, a relaxation room and is only 10 minutes from the train station. An open house is organized at the beginning of the calendar year.
