INSTITUT UNIVERSITAIRE EUROPÉEN RACHI

Born in Troyes in the th century, Rachi is the most famous commentator of Jewish sacred texts. Unique in Europe, the Centre for Hebrew Studies and Research, which is named after students in modern and classical Hebrew, literal Arabic, philosophy and history of art, exegesis and history of Judaism and Jewish-Christian relations, but also history of medieval Champagne or history of Spanish golden Age. A partner of the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne, this institute prepares students for their masters or DEA. They have a specialized library, named Hebraïca Judaïca. They also collaborate with second degree institutions, particularly in the teaching of philosophy, to conduct reflections on religions. Now the student population should be able to benefit from an on-site coaching, with a youth house.
