The building has undergone many transformations as a result of the illustrious families that have occupied it: the Luxembourg, the Mesgrigny and finally the Vendeuvre, who bequeathed him to their nephew Bourlon of Sarty. The last descendant of the Bourlon donated the castle to the Department of Dawn and to the commune of Vendeuvre in 1978. You can't visit it, but the park is regularly open.
