ST. MARTIN'S CHURCH
This serene church contains a small treasure from the century
The church of Saint-Martin is well worth a visit. Built in 1282, it features a pure Gothic style found in many Haute-Marne parish churches of the same period. Its old Burgundian-style portal, listed as a historical monument, can still be seen at the rear of the sanctuary. It also conceals a small 17th-century treasure: a splendidly renovated sepulchre. Particularly impressive from a technical point of view, this entombment, along with the high altar and Renaissance chapel, is the jewel in the crown.
