CHALMESSIN NATURE RESERVE
Go there and contact
This reserve was originally a marsh. In 1993, it became a natural reserve of 24 hectares, combined with neighbouring forests. This site is remarkable, such as its whitish marsh, its limestone lawn, and of course the abundance of wildlife (birds, mammals, reptiles, insects.) and flora. The fauna of the marsh abounds with live treasures to discover. Abors 3 endangered butterflies species: bacchante, checkerboard checkerboard and tourbières des. You'll see a beautiful population of dragonflies, and the wetlands of the streams are the favorite places to discover the viviparous lizards. A trail of discovery developed around the sounds of the forest will allow you to immerse yourself closest to this fascinating nature. Two different route lengths are proposed, 2 or 3 km. There's nothing very sporty, but you still have good shoes to climb the stairs and cross the wooden bridges. The village is fortunate to have two reservations: that walks in perspective!
