Right in the heart of the Auberive forest, there are several resurgences very close to each other, giving rise to the source of the Aube, the river that flows through Troyes. It was this river that gave Auberive its name, "Rive de l'Aube", in the Middle Ages. Nestling in a green setting, the source of the Aube is accessible via a 4 km discovery trail starting from La Thuilière. Alternatively, a roadside parking lot offers direct access. The pure waters of the Aube are home to a wide variety of flora.
