CULTURAL POLE

Located in the château park, close to the town hall, the cultural center includes both the museum and the municipal media library. The latter offers everyone access to culture through a wide range of media: computer workstations (10), books, documentaries, periodicals, comics, DVDs, audio CDs, CD-ROMs and the Internet. Regularly enriched, the library boasts a remarkable collection of contemporary works (25,000 volumes), incunabula and historical works (in particular, the 18-volume Egyptian campaign, as seen by the scientists who came to study the country). To consult these precious works, please make an appointment with the staff. All other on-site consultations are free of charge. If you wish to use the Wifi, the rate is €0.50 per hour, except for curists who are entitled to 30 minutes free thanks to the Animation card. The municipal museum invites you to discover various exhibits: Gallo-Roman remains, paintings by local artists, a unique collection of birds and temporary exhibitions.
