Viticulture is an integral part of the history of Baroness. since the thirteenth century. In 1850, 182 out of 240 families lived in the vineyard, which occupied 250 ha of the territory. Unfortunately in 1890 the phylloxera ravaged the entire vineyard, which was going to take a century to recover. As a majority of the wine, the epidemic that devastated the vineyards will lead to real rural exodus. In 1983 the first vineyards were replanted in 1986, the basic harvest was installed. Since then, there has been a snack of hectares and this reconquest begins to make itself known, under the new name of "Hilly hillsides", a typical and pleasant component of regional gastronomy. This year, harvest was exceptional. Their quality, both in pinot, gamay, auxerkings, is well recognized for this producer-producer.
