CHÂTEAU
The present castle, inscribed in Historic Monuments, dates from the sixteenth century. It was built on the original plans of the thirteenth century. In 1703, the Knight Le Brun, restores the castle but retains one of the four facades, it is to him that we owe this splendid park drawn on a regular plan. Since that time, the castle belongs to the same family. A visit makes it possible to discover parts of the sixteenth century: a tower, the guard room and the kitchen. Around the castle, surrounded by moss, the park is a delight for the eyes. The regular and landscaping elements reflect continuous creation. The landscape composition orders on both sides of an English river and Dinteville preserves a driveway lined with lime alignments and fed by the castle's moss. The park also includes two small pavilions as well as a restored nineteenth century orangerie, as well as a press and a dressing. Once surrounded by two greenhouses, only one remains at present. The entrance is at little price given the beauty and serenity of the place.
