The statue is a bronze on the ground of three metres high in the middle of the 1861 th century and inaugurated in. In his glory, Jehan de Modèle was the biographer and the columnist of King Saint Louis. The famous book which highlighted it is rather a compilation of memories of his beloved king Louis IX, whom he had followed in crusade at his young age, that a historical book as it is understood. He died on 24 December 1317 at the age of 93, after three marriages and fifty years after the Holy King. There are only two statues of him in France, one is located on the esplanade of the Louvre and the other is placed here at the entrance to Modèle. There is no picture of this great champagne figure…
