ST. MARY'S CATHEDRAL
It dominates the city, beautiful, massive, elegant, emerging from the ramparts to carry the right word in the distance. It was once the symbol of the power of the diocese located between Champagne and Burgundy. It is a book carried out in the second half of the twelfth century, of Romanesque style, in the lineage of Cluny. The facade is semi-classical, with its two towers, date of the xviiie, after successive fires. The beautiful nef has vaults that rise to 23 m high. To see, the chapel of Amoncourt and the baptismal fonts, the very beautiful Virgin to the Child in Algae, the tapestries of Jean Cousin of the sixteenth century on each side of Transept, the sculpted door of the fifteenth century. The cloister, now a municipal library, still retains a beautiful eight-span gallery of Gothic architecture of the xiiith century.
