The "C'était hier" museum takes you back to the 1900s, to the heart of working-class life, in a traditional doll's house. Here, you can watch the chiseller making embroidery scissors, a dog wheel in operation, and the lady of the house making a pair of gloves, a reminder of the glove-making past of Chaumont and the surrounding area.
