Entering this traditional haute-Marnese farm built in 1831, you will be immersed in the atmosphere of the rural Champagne of 1900 because everything has been preserved in the rules of art. Thanks to a succession of interior reconstructions and workshops, you will discover the daily life, gestures and hard work of the payasans according to the seasons. On 500 m ²: Vaulted cellar, alcove, vegetable garden to cook food, pig soup… A new space behind this facade! You will also discover various professions in the rural world: sweetheart, marshal-ferrant, lavandier, beekeeper or charron parcels a rich and varied collection of old objects exposed in the stables, oven room, beet cellar and barn. Claude Roze also invites you to visit a similar replenishment of a railway station at the beginning of the twentieth century. In short, an historic, playful and informative journey!
