SAINT GERMAIN CHURCH
This small church, a classified building, was built in the Romanesque style by monks in the early nineteenth century. Very simple, consisting of a single ship and with a gothic style opening in the rear, its bell ends with a pyramid roof and is overcome with a wrought iron cross and a bronze slavel. During the revolutionary period, in 1793, the Committee of Public Salvation decided to commandeer all master couteliers to provide the valiant Republican troops with sabers for the cavalry and bayonets for the infantry. To this end, all craftsmen are gathered in the church which then molts. You'll notice that the priory in the church still has a cutlery!
