THE TUFIER
Like a natural staircase carved by water runoff! A characteristic flora flourishes: the giant priest, the iris of the marshes… the tuproud turns the foam into tuf by depositing the limestone dissolves into the water. This sedimentation forms pads which, as they rise, constitute a natural dam. A true natural laboratory, the site of the Tupride is classified. It's an active biological environment living for millennia. The site is designed to receive visitors without suffering. Visit commented by an NFB agent every day of the year, by appointment (20 people minimum). A feeling of being elsewhere, in the middle of unspeakable nature and freshness. The trails are well indicated, however, given the possible length of the walk, sports shoes and water are strictly. The camera, too!
