A good excuse to give in to temptation. The local specialty: Wassy's crates. These famous crates are small almond meringues, lined up well in packages resembling boxes. They will accompany very well an end of meal. Their origin is most often attributed to the XVIth, to Marie Stuart who, appreciating particularly these delicacies, would have revealed her recipe at the time of her passage in Wassy. Other pastries are to be discovered.
