THE PRIORESS OF VINETZ
Occupied in the th century by monks of the Récollets order, the property was transferred to Benedictine nuns from the priory of Vinetz, near Saint-Martin-les-Prés. The chapel whose facade is an architectural masterpiece dating from the late th century. Enlarged during the same period, the buildings are characterized by a chalk-on-street construction on the street, and wooden areas on the courtyard. Restored by the department of La Marne, the ensemble opens on the forum of Europe, a vast dallée square, symbolizing European countries. It was classified as a historic monument in 1978.
