ST. STEPHEN'S CATHEDRAL
St. Stephen's Cathedral remains only the crypt, the northern tower of Gothic style and the first floor of the south tower during a fire
Of the Romanesque building, whose construction began in the early years of the 12th century, only the crypt, the north tower and the first floor of the south tower, built in the early 13th century in Gothic style, remain. Following a fire in 1230, the cathedral was gradually rebuilt. The work was completed with the main façade in 1634. The openwork nave, whose bays were built from the 13th to the 17th century, is a true gem of Gothic art. One can admire there remarkable stained glasses of the middle of XIIe and other treasures.
