SAINT-ALPINE CHURCH
Go there and contact
This beautiful Châlonnaise church, built in a block of houses in the city centre, already existed in the th century. It was rebuilt around 1170, taking the trappings of a Gothic art which is still very steeped in Romanesque style, before being considerably reworked in the th century, without the touch of its elevation. In the th century, it had a new polygonal chorus. The chapels surrounding it present a remarkable set of stained glass windows. The Glass of the Passion, the Last Judgment and the life of the Virgin or of Saint-Alpine in front of Attila are Magnificent.
