MARCHÉS
Go there and contact
The Market extends from the Godard Square to the Place of the Republic on Wednesdays and Saturdays all day. The Châlonnais also go on Sundays. Early news, cheeses, meat, fish, flowers, spices, farm, organic or local products, this is where the fee baskets are filled. On the outskirts, the travelling rôtisseries bring their cooked chicken odours. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, many pied settle on Godart square, rue du Marché-aux-Fleurs, Abbot-Lambert, to rue des Lombards. It is a good thing to walk at the stands: clothing, handbags, curtains, fabrics, carpets…
All generations are in there. Customers, passers-by, and curious travel across the maze of the stalls.
