Terrace restaurant with a warm and friendly welcome in Andlau.

Whether on the terrace or in the dining room, you'll love sitting down at this former coaching inn dating from 1546. Here, both the welcome and the cuisine are warm and unmistakable! Maître Restaurateur and excellent saucier Pierre Kieffer varies the pleasures with divine sauces, served with a smile by his wife Christiane. His recipes for foie gras and pike quenelles, among others, are particularly popular. It's a family secret handed down from his grandmother. Save room for the desserts, which are also succulent!

Repas en famille, nous avons été bien accueillis et servi assez rapidement. Bonne cuisine, un bémol pour le kir dont le cassis n'était qu'à l'état de traces ,la cuisson d'un steak qui n'était pas celle demandée et la sauce demandée à part et qui est arrivée dans l'assiette. Mis à part ces petits détails nous avons très bien mangé et les assiettes étaient copieuses. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute, c'est une excellente adresse.

Bonsoir, je suis le cuisinier / patron, effectivement maintenant que vous le dites j’ai oublié de vous mettre la sauce à part , j’en suis sincèrement désolé ! Great restaurant in the middle of Andlau, which is a beautiful & medieval village with a lot of history. The service was good & an english menu too, which is great. We ate on the terrace which has nice views on the main square.
Food was great and very tasty!

The only thing to improve is the chairs on the terrace.

Would totally recommend!
