L'ORANGERIE - MOËT ET CHANDON
Orangery designed by Lorraine painter Isabey, opposite the Résidence de Trianon.
Walking on the Avenue! Facing the Résidence de Trianon, the Orangerie was designed by Lorraine painter Isabey in 1807. A symbol of Moët & Chandon's art of entertaining, this unique architectural ensemble, recognizable by its formal garden, was the home of Jean-Rémy Moët's children in the 19th century. It owes its name to the orange trees it contains in summer, which are brought in during the winter. It is sometimes open during Heritage Days.
