The history of the Gosset family began over five centuries ago with Jean Gosset (1484-1556), "Seigneur d'Aÿ et de Mareuil". In 1584, Pierre Gosset, lord and alderman of Aÿ, opened a wine trading company. Sixteen generations followed, perpetuating a family tradition of craftsmanship. Maison Gosset has always passed on its know-how, as illustrated by the creation of the Trophée Gosset in 1995 and the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label in 2013.
