5 generations of winegrowers have worked on this estate, founded in 1822, which today boasts 15 hectares of vines, predominantly Chardonnay and Meunier. A mosaic of plots in the best terroirs gives Bauget-Jouette champagnes their distinctive character. For example, Blanc de Blancs 2008, a blend of Grands Crus Chardonnay, expresses itself with extremely fine bubbles. On the palate, we find aromas of pear, toast and a spicy finish. The Grande Réserve, more focused on candied fruit, is a powerful, rich wine.
