Created between 1923 and 1924, the Florent-en-Argonne necropolis covers 10,219 m2 and houses the graves of 2,061 soldiers who died for France during the Great War in 14-18. It includes the bodies exhumed in 1923 from several military cemeteries: Florent, Moriemont, Voilemont, Paris Park, Bagatelle, Claon n° 2 and 3, the Hauts-Bâtis and the Ravin des Chênes.
