To discover the fishing at Lac du Der, the fishing house offers different fishing and nature workshops where everything is provided (hardware, bait and start). All the public can try fishing on a half day around the pond of "Carpière". Children learn to manipulate equipment, hang bait, pick up and recognize fish. The most experienced can also participate in fishing competitions (€ 7) on a 2-hour test. And for those who wish, a facilitator accompanies days-discovery at the edge of the lake or in boat (80 €) to make the fishing techniques discover: in English, leurre, vif, dead… Holders of a AAPPMA card can fish on the edge with a cane. Holders of approved fishing and fish-farming associations who have paid the fish tax are granted a fishing authorization on Lake du Der, year, month or day.
