Oh the beautiful life! We leave the N 4 in the direction of the undulating Landscape of Lac du Der, the Sea in Champagne, to discover this wooden and glass restaurant which fits perfectly with the landscape. The first beach is only 10 minutes, beautiful sunny terrace, nice view, you enter the universe of Denis Chatelet. After having made his arms in prestigious restaurants such as L'Agath (a Michelin star) in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, this nature lover, passionate about cooking, makes his market with local producers. Fresh, certified regional products, the chef makes his bread and the card changes according to the lot of the products, but above all to the rhythm of the seasons. Let yourself be tempted by its fatty liver poached with rosé champagne. To give the menus, the sommelier Claude Hornero-Ramirez (second prize in the competition of the best sommelier in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in 2007) will make you discover his best wines from a map of 140 French and foreign names. An evening of the sommelier is organised every third Thursday of the month. The atmosphere is friendly and excellent value for money.

The chef and sommelier who like to share their passion do not hesitate to showcase the history of a wine or a preparation, two men who like their trade and their guests. Attentive and listening, a delicate consecration showed this lunch from anniversary, not indicated in advance. We spent a good time, renew in summer terrace.
