CHAMPAGNE J.-M. GOULARD
J.-M. Goulard Champagne House is a family estate in which wine-making skills are transmitted from father to son. The vineyard of this house is planted with three Champagne varieties and produces different vintages from Chardonnay, Pinot noir and Pinot meunier assemblies. We love to discover the facilities of this house and its traditions and champagnes:
Paul Tradition Black White of the Saint-Thierry massif: aromas of white fruits (apple, pear, peach) blend with more vegetable flavours such as menthol and eucalyptus, with a round and elegant mouth. To offer an aperitif, on shells, dense flesh fish or to accompany quality poultry.
Rosé Orphise Rosé, from black grape varieties: allied to the historic assembly of the house (75% of Pinot meunier, 25% of Pinot Noir), the red reserve wine (from 12 to 17%) is derived from old vines. Dress redcurrant with aromas of red fruits (kirsch, blueberry), with notes of gingerbread and raisins. Can accompany a kitchen of character, a duck with a drop of blood, sushi, haddock or some powerful cheeses.
Esprit Spirit: assembly of the three varieties, increased ageing (4 to 5 years), aromas of sweet spices and candied fruit, attacks in fresh and fleshy mouth. To eat with white meat or fish to plancha.
L'Flourished Harvest 2008: aromas of mirabell, cinnamon and fruit with, in a second time, notes of wax, honey, almond and chestnut. Can be reached with a curry risotto or a small game of feathers…
The charm 100% Pinot meunier, made in oak barrels: woody notes, smoke and notes, based, based and nuanced. Varnish with a fricassee of ceps or chanterelles, morels poultry or generous oysters. La Charme can also be savourée after meals.
The house has received various distinctions: Guide Hachette 2017: rosé Rosé Orphise awarded 2 stars - Item 2017: La Charme 16/20 and Rosé Orphise 15/20.
