Brasserie in the heart of the Halles district, offering traditional and casual cuisine, especially seafood

In the heart of the Les Halles district, it is the oldest brewery in Reims, a real institution since 1925, loved by all Remois and adored by tourists passing through. The business is family owned and passed on from father to son, today it is Alexandre Victor-Pujebet who has taken over the orders of the brewery in the pure Art Deco style and continues to offer traditional cuisine with a scoundrel air that pleases so much. From September to June, it is mainly seafood selected with Amiour (the brewery's flake shell) that is served, accompanied by champagne.

We visited this brasserie by chance, because recommended by our hotel located a few metres away, we had an aperitif offered. But before we had cropped district where situ the Large Market surrounded by many restaurants and that was home to us. But hardly starter and climb upstairs, preceded by an attractive waiter, we are happy to this choice. Nice little table, bordered by two small tables with roulettes, which allows you to avoid tight the one against the other as in many café brasserie where you can not move from one inch without hustling something. An original setting, which seems to be on time, and well preserved, friendly service. We were ready to make the following day to celebrate the dinner of December 24th but unfortunately, it was closed. The waiter told us that it was the policy of the hotel, it was necessary to celebrate the family celebrations. It also learned that the owner was very understanding and staff that stayed in this family-run atmosphere. The meal is tasty for a decent price. Very pleasant surprised.
