From the Place d'Erlon, the Mansard-style roof and the rotunda of this monument of Remise restoration already heralds an exceptional setting for a chic and gourmet tasting. High ceilings, woodwork and Art Deco stained glass windows, this elegant brasserie has all the charm of the Roaring Twenties and a menu that promises many delights. As soon as the first rays of sunshine arrive, we hurry to the terrace to enjoy the summer garden and share a seafood platter. Fines de claires, lobster, langoustines, crabs, crabs associated with a Riesling or a few bubbles, a ballet of flavours that can be enjoyed to the sound of jazzy chords, away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre.

Disappointing. Very expensive for what we ate (130 euros with 3 per 2 glass of champagne, 1 water bottle, 2 entries avocado banal prawns + 1petite slice of foie gras 5 mm thickness more than unspecified, 2 sea-bream dashes full with edges, with a fatty and insipid sauce, a passable Tartar steack with a very small fatty French fry portion, finally 2 coffees and 2 pies with apples. .bof BOF… Correct service with table, but responsible for unpleasant room, taking its customers top. The confused of addition and not easily comprehensible drafting (they have it aiilleurs remade). Beautiful terrace, very beautiful interior establishment but not renovated with furniture and tired chairs. As much, I appreciate the Excelsior brewery of NANCY, as much I do not recommend that of Rheims that of RHEIMS.
