L'UNION
Initially founded during the Second World War by a group of resistance fighters, and since owned by the Hersant-Media group, this newspaper is now owned by the Belgian Rossel group. L'Union is a major regional daily with 8 editions: Reims, Châlons-en-Champagne, Soissons, Laon, Vitry, Ardennes, Ardennais and Épernay. Tuesday's edition includes a business section, Sunday's a detailed cultural magazine and Saturday's, which is sold at a slightly higher price, has a separate Fémina magazine and TV program. The sports pages and back cover have been redesigned. The Facebook page highlights key daily news items. And for new subscribers, there are flash sales, by the month, with free trials. The website is very well designed and gives an overview of the day's news.
