A three-story museum displaying Krafft's magnificent collections as well as his Renaissance and Neo-Gothic furniture
Classified as a historical monument, this superb half-timbered house bears the name of its former owner, Nicolas Le Vergeur, a rich 16th century bourgeois. In 1910, the founder of the Société des Amis du Vieux Reims, Hugues Krafft, bought the mansion and installed the Musée du Vieux Reims on the ground floor. Upon his death in 1935, the building became the Le Vergeur Museum, displaying Krafft's magnificent collections on three floors, as well as his Renaissance and neo-Gothic furniture, the library and archives dedicated to Reims and its history, paintings by Gauguin, Matisse and Leonard and some fifty woodcuts by Albrecht Dürer.

Merci pour cette magnifique découverte historique
One of the most comprehensive and interesting tours I've had at a little house museum like this (and I've been to many).
Would definitely recommend for the story of the owners of the house and all the objects held inside.
