NEW YEAR'S EVE CASTLE
Built between 1607 and 1617, Réveillon was inhabited in the th century by the Marquis d'Argenson, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Louis XV and by Jules Robert of Cotte, architect of the King, who was the remanièrent and decorated of paintings. He then became the birthplace of the works by Marcel Proust, who was the host of Madeleine Lemaire, who made the Château de Réveillon his summer residence and held a literary living room until the beginning of the th century. Since 1992, a large restoration company has made it possible to make all its splendour at this classified historic monument and made it possible to visit this magnificent building. New since 2014: suitable visits are offered to children between the ages of 5 and 12 every Sunday in July and 14 July. The visit ends with a snack.
