In spite of its name, the farm is not a place where grey cranes are bred, it is a property belonging to the Syndicat d'Aménagement touristique du lac du Der. It is therefore out of the question to disturb the birds and even less to allow yourself to use the farm roads by car or even on foot. So go through their observatory to contemplate them in very good conditions. However, the cranes are only really present between 15 February and 5 March when they are feeding. During the rest of the season, their presence is very random.
