THE COURSE BISTRO
A small old-fashioned bistro, deeply human, located just in front of the prefecture. Pascal, the owner of the place seems to have come straight out of the Agora of ancient Greece both by his physique and his philosophy of life! Since 1998, it has been welcoming its customers and visitors from early morning to late evening and there are many interesting things happening here all year round to awaken minds and curiosity and enable people of all generations to meet and exchange ideas. A pioneer to the core, it is since 2005 that we can deposit our books here and find new ones, all styles. It is also where Philosophy Meetings with the Talking Stick, conferences on eclectic topics, Psy or Personal Development Cafés, citizen meetings or new techniques, Sophro Cafés or improvisational theatre evenings in the old-style cellar of the bistro take place. An internet connection and a printer for the practical side and since this year the Givebox on the sidewalk to bring and take clothes and objects in a concern of anti-consumerist sharing and common sense citizen. Le Bistrot du Cours is truly an intergenerational meeting place, a place of openness, a necessary place!
