Lantivy Palace is the headquarters of the prefecture. The first stone of Lantivy Palace was laid in 1826. The plans were traced by Alphonse-Henri de Gisors (1796-1866), in full agreement with neoclassical tastes of his time. The palace is surrounded by a beautiful garden, planted with all kinds of Mediterranean or tropical species, including palm or cédratiers. The extension with glass slabs dates back to the early 1990 s.
