THE SPINA CAVALLU BRIDGE
The Spina Cavallu bridge, one of the oldest on the island of Arbellara, dates back to the century.
A few kilometers from Propriano in the direction of Sartene, take the direction of Levie on the left and you won't be very far! The Spina Cavallu bridge (horse's back in Corsican language), located on the Rizzanese river, is a Pisan bridge which dates back to the 13th century, which makes it one of the oldest on the island. Rising 8 meters above the water, it is 64 meters long. The exceptional quality of its construction has allowed it to resist floods, such as that of 1993. Easy access but quite popular in the heart of summer!
