A site with diverticula, a central chamber and a staircase, with prehistoric huts dotting the monument.

At the top of a spur of 361 m of altitude and watching over the road to Sartene via the Bocca di Biscelli, stands the Castello of Alo-Bisujè. It has yielded fragments of menhirs, millstones and pottery of the II millennium B.C. It is an imposing circular monument with an entrance, diverticula, a central chamber and a staircase that led to the platform of the second level. Around it, prehistoric huts line the site. Think of bringing walking shoes. The visit lasts a little more than half an hour. Not to be missed!

Sehr beeindruckend! Das ist kein Museum. Das ist ein realer Ort. Hier haben von der Jungsteinzeit (6400-5000 v. Chr.) über die Bronzezeit (3300-1200 v. Chr.) bis ins Mittelalter (500-1500 n. Chr.) Menschen gelebt und nach ihren damaligen Verhältnissen gewohnt, sich verteidigt und Vorräte gelagert. Von allem davon sind deutliche Spuren auf diesem strategisch wichtigen Hügel zu finden. Der engagierte Besitzer hat Wege angelegt, mehrsprachige Beschilderungen angebracht und hält in großer Fleißarbeit alles wunderbar in bester Ordnung. Zusätzlich sind als botanischer Lehrpfad an 10 Stationen Pflanzen der Macchia beschildert. Einen Flyer gibt es an der Bar, dazu kühle Getränke und Sandwiches. - Nehmen Sie sich 1-2 Stunden Zeit, genießen Sie die tolle Aussicht und tauchen Sie ein in die bewegende Geschichte Korsikas.

Un très beau site pour les passionnés de l'histoire ancienne,entre 30 et 40 minutes de balade pour découvrir l'ensemble.
Prix d’entrée plus que raisonnable,grand parking..que du bon.
