The Fiera di a Castagna, which celebrates the chestnut and its by-products, is one of the oldest agricultural fairs on the island.
This is one of the island's oldest agricultural fairs. Created in 1982, it is a showcase for Corsican chestnuts and an opportunity to promote all their derivatives. A genuine development tool for chestnut growing, the fair has enabled producers and processors to structure a sector that has obtained AOC certification for its flour. The fair also features all the typical products of Corsica. The fair attracts tens of thousands of visitors.
