The renovated Bastion de l'Étendard offers several attractions: a route marked out by numerous explanatory panels that tell the story of Bonifacio's fortifications, a botanical area with endemic Bonifacian plants, a "landscape garden" with several orientation tables, plus a new interior exhibition that recounts the history of the site. The underground rooms, partly dug into the rock, are impressive, as are the panoramic views along the way.

Nous avons atterri au restaurant le BASTION à BONIFACIO par hasard, au détour d’une ruelle. Très belle découverte une cuisine familiale sympathique avec des produits frais et du terroir. Et pour ne rien gâcher un accueil des plus chaleureux avec un patron qui n’est pas avare de détails pour vous expliquer sa cuisine. Une mention particulière pour les déserts au fromage et citron et du gâteau à la châtaigne fait maison. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir pour goûter cette fois-ci les aubergines bonifacienne.
