Unmissable restaurant whose terrace dominates the Gulf of Cargese in the shade of the plane trees, the Saint-Jean is a professional place as well as a very nice one. Beautiful and delicious Corsican specialities, fish from the Gulf, a generous and seasonal cuisine based on fresh and local products. Recommended by the local gourmets who frequent it all year round, it is a safe stop between Piana and Ajaccio. The rooftop offers a grandiose panorama and you can enjoy tapas, cold cuts and cheese as an aperitif in front of the sunset.

Au premier abord pas très bien reçu...on aurait pu repartir. Apres l ambiance s est détendu et on a eu des excuses. Le repas était bon mais la chef ne sais pas faire cuire le bœuf saignant.... dommage. Malgré ça resto propre et agréable. Je recommande.

La nourriture est excellente, nous y sommes allés 2 fois, c'est surtout la pizza aux légumes qui m'a enthousiasmé. Seul le dessert, le tiramisu beurre salé, était trop beurré pour moi et on ne sentait pas le sel. Le service est rapide et sympathique.
Actualisation : Je n'ai pas du tout aimé l'entrecôte, elle était bien trop mitigée. C'est pourquoi je retire une étoile.

Arrivés sur Cargese , nous avons dîner un soir au st Jean , avons commander un plateau de charcuterie, marmite du pêcheur (très copieux ) et cabri ( assiette généreuse légumes et frites ) petit bémol pour le cabri qui manquer de cuisson .
