The remains of the first and only armed statue-menhir with a woman's body, discovered in Corsica at Ciamannacce
In 1984, Cosimo developed his property located at the place called U Castaldu on the commune of Ciamannacce, between U Ponti di u Pinu and U Ponti di u Vergaghju. He removed the stones and blocks of granite and deposited them in edge of the river. He turned over this half-buried block, discovering that it was sculpted. These were the remains of the first and only armed statue-menhir with a woman's body, discovered in Corsica. The said statue-menhir is still on the place of its discovery.
