LE MONTE SAN PETRU

Ascent of Monte San Petru, a family hike offering the extraordinary scents of the maquis in spring.
Starting from the Col de Saint-Eustache, this family hike begins in the undergrowth. Without difficulty, you'll reach a first plateau often occupied by cows, and then it's between low maquis plants and small granite boulders that you'll continue your open-air ascent. A little more effort and you're rewarded with a 360° view of the Gulf of Valinco, the Gulf of Ajaccio and the Aiguilles de Bavella. As well as this dreamy panorama, it's also an opportunity to pay your respects at the stele in memory of the victims of the air crash on 01/12/1981.
