As with many hikes in Corsica, your walk begins in the magnificent maquis. Departing from Ste Lucie de Tallano, you cross the Rizzanese forest in timeless landscapes, stop off at the 12th-century chapel, and wind your way along this 56-kilometer waterway. The Rizzanese, a magnificent river, rises from Monte Incudine at 2,100 m and surges through the massif, slowly descending towards the Gulf of Valinco, ending its course at Propriano.
